CRIGGION

Photos by Peter Bigwood

My interpretation of what I could see is that the 3 guyed masts plus the top of the cliff supported the VLF aerial and the 3 self-supporting masts held the HF aerials. However, this appears to be wrong and the self-supporting masts actually held the VLF aerials. The guyed masts are supposed to have been for HF - but I don't see how. There are a total of 6 masts at the site today as photo 2 shows.

It isn't my camera, there does seem to be a slight kink at the top of the mast in photo 3.
